Department of Planning and Land Development

The Planning & Land Development Office consists of two separate divisions: Planning, Zoning & Licensing Division as well as the Permits and Inspection Division. The Planning, Zoning & Licensing Division handles all questions concerning zoning, licensing issues, subdivision, comprehensive planning, sensitive area regulations, land preservation, mapping, and census data. The Permits and Inspection Division handles all questions concerning building code administration, stormwater management, entrance permits, and sediment & erosion control.
